We
started our search in 2002 - for the Real Deal.
We both had "the drawer". You know the drawer
everyone has with products we no longer use, but
are too expensive to toss out.
We tried products that offered fantastic claims,
but when we asked for the Scientific Research
or for instance: what is Octyl methoxycinnamate,
we didn't get any answers. The more we asked the
more puzzled looks we received. What we quickly
learned was -- clean and pure products were difficult
to find.
By the way, Octyl methoxycinnamate is a Sunscreen
agent which protects skin from the sun's UVB rays.
Not such a bad thing to be in a product now is
it?
What we learned, in fast order was most of the
products are loaded with fillers, toxins, coloring
agents, fragrances and alcohol. Sure they smell
great and made our skin soft but as soon as water
hit our face, it washed off! So we dug deeper
and found Pharmaceutical grade or what doctors
use.
We also found that women are charged twice and
sometimes three times the price for the same products
the men were offered! When we asked why the same
products for women were more expensive than the
Mens products and the answer was "because women
will pay more and if it's in a pretty package
- they love that too". So instead of getting mad,
we decided that women and men prices must be the
same. We also had on our list - functional packaging.
Our Philisophy
Skin Savers succeeds because we care about our
customers. We also realize in order to have repeat
customers; we need to keep you happy! Although
this seems like common sense, it is astounding
how many companies really don't care about anything
other than making an immediate sale. Our prices
reflect the direct from Skin Savers to consumers.
In addition, if you should ever have a problem
we will do everything we can to solve the problem
to your satisfaction. This philosophy not only
helps us win new customers, it also helps us turn
those new customers into long-term repeat customers.
